When you're annoyed, your first draft shows it. Make it polite keeps the ask but turns orders into requests and takes out anything that reads as sarcastic or passive-aggressive.
Use it for messages to neighbors, landlords, customer support, group chats and anyone you'll need to keep getting along with.

Your music is way too loud every night. Turn it down.
Hi, the music has been quite loud in the evenings. Would you mind turning it down a bit, especially at night? Thank you!
Good for

- Notes to neighbors
- Reminders to people who ignored the first one
Questions
+Polite or Friendlier?
Polite is neutral and tactful. Friendlier adds warmth. For a complaint, Polite usually fits better.
+Will it water down my point?
No. The request stays. Only the delivery changes.
+Can it fix passive-aggressive phrases?
Yes. "Per my last email" and "as I already said" are the usual suspects, and it rewrites them.
